Working primarily with graphite, Robert Dingle’s monochromatic works are shaped through periods of sustained making, in which minimalist and geometric abstractions emerge from processes rooted in research and data collection. Drawing becomes a site of accumulation, where time, labour, and information are gradually embedded within the surface, transforming acts of measurement and repetition into quiet, materially rich compositions. Robert Dingle studied BA Fine Art at University of Brighton (2002–05) and MFA Curating at Goldsmiths, University of London (2007–09). He is currently a Fellow of the Royal Society of Art and Senior Programme Manager at Art Fund. Selected groups exhibitions include: Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize (2022-23); Drawing, Frontier Gallery, Sheffield (2022); Translations, Ryebank Gallery, Rye (2022).
